Complete Worldwide appoints Andy Turner to head up Real-World Evidence capability
Andy Turner joins Complete Worldwide on 3 January from Adelphi Real World, to head up a new capability we are building in Real-World Evidence (RWE). This is a very exciting development for Complete Worldwide, and represents the next step in our ‘evidence activation’ concept.
RWE has become increasingly necessary in providing insights via patient observational studies, to support the communication of value arguments to key stakeholders at all stages of the product lifecycle – so as to achieve optimum access to the market. These studies differ from experimental randomised controlled trials (RCTs), which apply more stringent patient selection protocols, so as to measure efficacy and safety in defined patient populations for regulatory submission. However, RCTs do not provide a holistic assessment of real-life patient outcome in the patient population – ie in the ‘real world’.
Andy has over 12 years of experience in the strategic and commercial development of observational patient insights via RWE, through both bespoke and branded patient studies.
